In a backwards society that buried its girls, manufactured its own gods, and shed blood over spilled milk, there came a series of cataclysmic events ushering in the coming of a prophet.

This is the origin story of the best man to ever walk the Earth.

In it we find lessons of love, hope, pain and loss. In it we learn of faith and resilience through times of transformation and uncertainty. In it is the blueprint to living as religious minorities in a wider society.

The Makkan Seerah lays the foundation for the greatest story ever told.

Students of Desert Rose will look at every detail of the Prophet’s Makkan life together as a group. By studying the parallels to your own life, you will extract profoundly relevant lessons like enduring change, dawah and conversion, social causes, contributing to non-Muslim society, and countering hate crimes and speech.

Whether you’re a beginner or expert, you’ll encounter a transformation.

First and foremost, you’ll be spending an entire weekend immersed in the life of the your beloved Prophet (upon whom be peace), knowing him at a more intimate level.

You will develop confidence in extracting your own wisdoms on your own. Time will be spent building the foundation for critical analysis and studying both classical and modern books of Seerah.

Immersing in the study of his life is your light amidst the darkness.
